ok it making a funny noise after i tap the charge pipe for my line for my boost controller,when i press the throttle then let go i can hear from the bov that its making like a sound of a whistle,i havent heard that sound before so can it be that i have a leak in my charge pipe,please give me some info if you have experienced this before,what are the possibility?thanks ahead

anybody please help,its getting very annouying,and i dont want to take it to a shop,it just doesnt sound normal

Usually a whisle is the bov not opening all the way and so the air whisles through, try loosing the screw on the bov. Also what type?

its the greddy type rs.how do i ajust the screw because the nut on the bov is tighten all the way.thanks

Loosen the top nut with a wrench 1/2 turn at a time, and not too much. Then drive the car, and see if that helps. Repeat if necessary

do you mean the one where i use the allen wrench to loosen or tighten,it says hard or soft ,is that what youre talking about,what does hard and soft do?thanks

if i remember correctly, loosen the nut on top of the bov, then use the allen wrench to tighten or lossen(hard or soft) going harder will make more of a whistle sound, soft will make more of a whoooosh sound. hope this helps
