BOV facing downwards???

I was just wondering if it mattered if my BOV (the opening) is facing downwards.. Does it need to be rewelded so the opening of the bov is facing sideways?

It doesn't matter which direction the BOV is facing.

I'll just back up that it does not matter which way it faces. I would avoid pointing it up. Possibility of water and such getting in it. Highly unlikely though.

Yeah thats what i figured because i never really seen anyone face it downwards..
