Default Bought a used turbo set-up, starting to think it's Janky.. help..

I bought a turbo setup of a guy that had a civic, and the same shop that originally installed it in his car is putting it on my 95 teg. a couple questions,

All of the tubro piping is steel, I've seen alot of people use aluminum for this, is steel bad to use?

There are 2 fuel injector bosses welded into the pipping aiming right at the throttlebody, I've never seen this before, what's this all about?

I'm getting a little concerned with this set-up and if it's going to be done right.

just for a little more info,
I have a B18C1, 8.5:1 Wiseco Pistons, Eagal Rods, Stock valve train, Garret t3 turbo.

the piping you ahve is probably fmax piping. The FMAX kits had piping where they would use additiaonal injectors and a controller to add mroe fuelrather than a FMU this was in the lates 90s. Do search for FMAX

steel piping is fine....my question is why have a built block, etc with a small t3?

built the block because it's out of the car and I wanted to tear it down to check the condition. and since it was apart and I got a good deal on pistons, I figure i will lower compression for future "high boost" and the rods are a gimmie if your doing pistions right? I havent bought the turbo yet (the original one was siezed) so which turbo do you think is right for me? I don't want to have to buy it twice.. I'm only budgeting around $500 for the turbo..
