Default Bought a Garrett turbo at the junkyard. What are the specs?

Hi All:

While searching the junkyard today for a tranny for my CRX, I found an 84 Volvo with what looked to be like a Garrett turbo. It took me like 3 hours to get the manifold off of the head, but I took it and bought the turbo + manifold for $65.

Here is a pic of the info plate:

Where I can I find the specs on this turbo? It looks to be of a decent size and at first glance, I thought the exhaust flange looked like a T3.

Here are those numbers if you can't read them:

Part Number: TB0326
Customer Part Number: 13 26425
ATD Part Number: 466032-2
Serial Number: NB0783A

The tag says "Garrett" on it.

More pics here: http://www.muller.net/sonny/turbo

Thanks,
Sonny

It looks like a straight T3. Probably a .48 Exhaust housing Stage I Turbine with a .42 A/R compressor housing! Is should be enough for what you are looking at producing.

Thanks, Louis! There are no external markings on the housings. If I take everything apart, will I be able to figured out what size/trim everything is?

Here are few more clues after cleaning it up a little. I am not sure what everything means...particularly the "M" numbers. (??)

Do the dimensions of the exhaust flange look to be the same as those of a T3?

Sweet, man. Thanks! Did you also pull it out of a Volvo. It was kinda funny when I was standing in line to pay for it. Several people asked me "Where in the heck did you find that turbo??"...hehe...nobody thought to check out the Volvos.

Mine was from a late 80s saab 900, but its the exact same turbo. Did you get the downpipe with it? It was super easy to weld up a custom downpipe using the stock piece.

No, I didn't grab the downpipe. Dang...I should have because it would have been totally easy. It's probably still there.

Have you driven your car around with this turbo yet? If so, how does it feel?

The wastegate actuator rod is only adjusted to 4psi. It gets up to full boost by about 3k. Its really not that big of a turbo, but big enough to make my car fun to drive again I dont have an intercooler installed yet, but after it gets here im gonna turn it up to about 7psi.

Awwwww how cute . It's a straight t-3, reminds of my old turbo I tossed over the fence at pick a part.
