I used one. They suck. Don't buy one. I got 2 for free. I bought a turbo xs after like a month.

They don't hold boost, they're too small, they're plastic...

i have one i'll sell you for 20 shipped, they do tend to go bad on chipped 1.8T's tho, the piston is a plastic design, but if you are doing a junkyard setup, it should be good,
they hold for 10 psi stock on the 1.8T's, so it should hold you down till you get dough for a better one
good luck,
Im trying to learn about the whole Jap car thing cause my boy has gsr thats gonna be boosted soon, lataz

I got a 1st gen dsm bov with flange that i got laying around and i'm trying to get rid of. It's a pretty good blow off valve and cheap if you trying to do a custom setup. PM me if you want it.

Take it from me...they hold stock boost okay 11lbs...but I'm running 15psi now, spiking to 19psi..and it starts to stick open.

And it's a diverter valve, not blow off valve, unless they make one of those also...I dunno.

Bosch part # 0280142103, can be bought at at most autoparts stores. Holds under 10psi fine, good for DIY setups. 1G DSM is better.

a diverter valve, pop-off valve and blow-offf valve are all the same thing. It's called a diverter when it's "closed-loop" and the blown off air goes back into the intake tract, before the turbo...

I have a Bosch one on my set-up...was $30, shipped new and it's been working like a champ since july, no boost leaking to speak of. I tried out a turboXS for a while, but there was no noticeable difference, so I didn't see any reason to drop another $100, atleast, for an anodized POS. I'd trust anything made by Bosch before something made by a company with XS in it's name (gay). Anyway, no reason to go for anything else if you're under 10-15psi.
