at 350 hp i would consider this more of a budget build the 57 trim fits that field alittle better, i dont see why a .55 SS casted housing wouldnt be response...

It's not the housing that presents a problem. Its the fact that the standard one uses a P-trim exhaust wheel. It has an effect with the response characteristic as opposed to using the stage III exhaust wheel for that power goal.

i agree there are other options, like i mentioned a 350 goal typically i someone looking to spend a small amount on a turbo not a larger sum to achieve the same result. judging from his s/n he has a b20 and i dont there will be any problems with a 57 trim...

True, he may have the displacement, but I think its a bit better to try something like an S252 ETT or S256 as oppose to a mismatch like that. His transient response will be much higher with the better combination. Especially if he's using a VTEC head (To the OP: you are using a VTEC head aren't you? )

agreed, i was thinking more on the money savings side, as 99% of my customers looking for under 400 hp are looking to spend less.

VERY true. That is the one drawback on some of these ETT applications, and I can guarantee you the cost won't go down any time soon.
