Re: borg warner 6.5 diesel turbo for a b17a (Sunrise City Rider)
you MIGHT get boost around 5500rpm or so.
this is off a duramax chev? if so, i know a guy with one on an h22. starts to spool at 4000rpm, but keep in mind 2.2 vs. 1.7, so you're gonna be lagging.

Re: borg warner 6.5 diesel turbo for a b17a (ekboost)
the turbo come from a 1996 gmc 2500 pickup
my technician said me that it's the same size as a t3 t04e
is that true?

It's the same COMPRESSOR side as a TO4E because it uses a TO4E wheel and housing, but the exhaust housing is absolutely massive compared to a T3/T4 turbo. You would need a custom manifold or a manifold designed for a T4 exhaust housing, and it would be very laggy.

Re: (mrbsponge)
no it isn't you guys are going nuts in here.. a 6.5 turbo diesel Chevy/Isuzu Turbocharger is about the same size as the typical t3/t4e that Garrett makes and the one that everyone of you guys as honda people use on your civic/teg/lude/etc. They are infact t3/t4s.....t3 or the turbine side doesn't state an a/r but i have compared a .63a/r garrett to this borg warner t3 side and the bg is just slightly bigger. whatever the case the .63 a/r is laggy even in a 2.0 at lower rpms, so in this case with a slightly larger a/r your car will spool maybe at 4500-4900rpms......right before Vtec...
