boosting then no power then shut off ????
i was coming home last night and i boosted my normal 7psi in 4th til about 7 grand this is a stock h22 by the way with 146k on it, ran great all night too, then i felt a hesitation and the oil light came and check engine light both started blinking, so i pulled over and shut off, checked oil and it was low, waited for more oil to arrive, notieced that seals on turbo were blown, oil everywhere, but i fiugred that if i went slow i could make it another 20 miles home, after oil refill, filled with oil, drove 20 feet then clouds of white smoke out the exhaust couldnt see anything at all, so i got it towed home, i konw i need a new turbo no big deal, but i think its my headgasket, i just hope that its not my rings or landings, any help greatly appreciated, its fully white smoke , didnt really smell like anything?

Dude if the engine was low on oil and the light came on, you can write off lots of parts inside. All the factory oil light does is come on when the motor is TOAST! Start planning a rebuild now.

but i was like a matter of seconds till it was shut off it really didnt seem long enough to me to cause a lot of damage

yea but the oil light does not come on until there is no oil going by the sensor, so that means there was not a great flow of oil for a while.

ok i took everything apart today my turbo kit and stuff, drained the oil and the oil is clean no metal shavings, no coolant no nothing, im thinking that since my turbo blew at the same time, that all the oil going everywhere might have had something to do with all the smoke , but it was mostly white which doesnt make sense, everything mani downpipe is coated in oil, but also i think that i might have had a fuel injector go bad on me but im not sure so ill do a little more investigating at get back to ya, also if i did blow the head gasket would there definetly be coolant in the oil?????

a blown headgasket doesnt necessarily distribute coolant in your oil., IF the headgasket seal is ruptured between a water passage and the cylinder itself.. This would allow water to enter the cylinder and blow out the exhaust... Water= white smoke. Give a wee bit better description and we can all help you out a bit better hope you got a beater to drive

well it def was white smoke out the exhaust , but it would run a little wanted to stall, but would run with really lumpy idle, i think that my turbo blew first, so i pulled over and somehow i blew the headgasket trying to start the engine again, because the first time i pulled over there was no smoke at all, but then when i started it up after i filled it with oil , just solid white out the exhaust ?

Sounds like you're burning coolant. Either blown HG, melted piston or the like. You'd be lucky if the failure is not serious. I think you should rip the block apart and most likely need a rebuild.
