Default Boosting a gsxr 750

I boosted a 04 gsxr 750 and I keep blowing seals out of the turbo

i hooked up an oil pressure gauge to it and it is well over 100 psi,

do they have some kind of severe oil restricter i can get? thanks

wierd; my friend was running damn near identical times on his 04 or 06 gixxer 750; mid 11s at near 130mph and I think all he has is a slip on pipe.

That is an interesting setup though; I wouldn't think a toy t25 or 14b would have enough flow for the top end of the VE of that amazing engine. Those things make nearly 170hp stock don't they? a t25 wouldn't flow much past that even with an intercooler

That's what it looks like to me as well. The oil return looks like it's angled up. That's definately a problem unless you are pumping the oil back into the pan.

Good job on the HMT bike!

Cause i kept blowen turbos so i used a auto tranny oil pump temp, the kid that was on the bike Never went down the track before on one, and they where horrible runs i wish i still had the slip at the 1/8 it was at like 78mph then hit 130,
i mean it stood up in every gear top end it was hangen with turbo busa's We made the mani so the turbo sits higher, and going to remake the oil pan so it can flow a little better, but that pressure is way to high

im about to turbo my friends r1 and from what i have been reading most guys with turbo bikes run oil pumps in the return line..

my plan was to run a -3an feed with a restrictor depending on the oil pressure in the bike and run a drain line to the pan with a pump in it so it wont back up, it will just shoot the oil back into the pan..

good luck with it..

something like that should help...but i suspect that the majority is that drain line... as was mentioned... and you are fixing.

centerline of shaft is well below your oil level. Not ideal! Does it fill the compressor up with oil? SMoke pretty bad?

A nitrous system will never come close to making the same power as a turbo and living!

mouting it in the rear causes it to be inefficient... laggy. also, there is no room in the rear, remember the swingarm moves up and down... not to mention the shock slap in the middle of it all.... i build racebikes and it would also expletive up the charge piping route.

also, on that harley.... gt15s dont like being pull through type turbos... that is they dont like having fuel pulled through them. but i guess you dont really have a choice
