Thanks for the info! His rad is turned slightly and tilted back, with a huge bar/plate IC. I didn't figure it would have problems but riding around on a 70-80 degree day it's nothing to log 206+ temps....

Very nice! I remember seeing this car for sale a few months back. One of my favorite EF's!
I have a very similar setup, just with CP pistons & a 3076R, that will be getting tuned next week. I'd LOVE to see some numbers like that! Congrats man

You have sold me on the nippon racing cast piston. You also running the npr rings that came with them? What did you have to get done to them to run aftermarket rods? Machined for a C clip? If I used the npr pistons and aftermarket rods in a stock b18b could I push it to around 380-400whp. Probably do arp head studs and rod bolts but nothing else.

Thanks man. Lip is Chargespeed.
Before i ordered them i specified that i would be running aftermarket rods. that i will need them machined for Wristpin clips, it was extra money for the machine work. You could have a local machine shop or however you wanna do it. was easier just to tell them. If you plan on using stock rods with these pistons you can just buy them as is. When you buy aftermarket rods use the rod bolts that come with them. I would recommend the head studs for sure. If you are just going to do a stock B18b with just rods and pistons, With a good turbo kit you could get 350whp or more depending on other things.
Nah. Sorry.

Nice man I have the c5 block on 24lbs of boost from a gt35r in a stock block with rods and pistions and made around 450 for 30ish thousand miles till i wanted to make more and sprayed it till the sleeve craped out on a highway pull vs a gsxr 1000 . Now shes golden eagle sleeved and being tuned by JK soon so its good to hear good stuff coming from him. Try hotrodhanks.com for mickytompsons they hook like no ones biz and they have free fast shiping . I also had ctr cams but sold them and now have them so would be nice to make 500 plus.

Man, you really making a believer outta me with those pistons... definitely gonna do a "budget" build and try to put down anything close to 450whp... Its great knowing that you've gone over 500whp fairly easily... I have been following you for a while even when you had the single cam build on turbod16... Great Car man and keep up the good work..
