Boosted B20VTEC in 90 CRX SI
I'm looking to make some changes to my current setup (read title).
Current setup includes an Egay cast iron log manifold, XS Power T3 4248E 50 trim (oh hey, little guy). A 2.5" turbo back exhaust. And some other bs. Makes 245 whp and 205 ft. lbs. at 14psi, which is fun, but I'm ready for a bit more power. Nothing crazy, 300 to the wheels will be fine... for now.
Later today, I'm trading my wheels for a Turbonetics 60-1 T4 Twin Scroll BB snail. My plan is to mate said turbo with a divided flange manifold of some sorts, possibly the OBX top mount?!? Any feedback on that mani? I also plan to run a full 3" turbo back exhaust. The 60-1 has a v-band dp flange.
I do not have A/C or power steering, but the engine bay is still lacking in the spaciousness department with the current setup. So, if you have something similar to my newly planned setup in your CRX, please, do tell me about it.
Thanks,
Tim

Hmm, I know somebody's been down this road before. LoL
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!
Is it a must that I use a turbo manifold with a divided flange to get the most from my twin scroll? Will a regular T4 flanged manifold work as well?

That's a good upgrade for you, but I would look at a company called "Forged Performance" on ebay for a fairly priced ramhorn or top mount manifold... I have their Ramhorn and I'm very happy with it!
Just make sure what ever route you go it get the car retuned before you go off having fun...

you have room move the radiator support bar
i run a t4/67 on a topmount in my little ef
i did pull the drivers side headlight and cut some of it out to make room for the turbo inlet though

Thanks for the input, guys!
@mugen, I'll def check them out. How long have you had their Ramhorn? And I'll have my tune dialed in for sure.
@sanman, were you able to run an air filter on your inlet? And which topmount are you using?

What i seen in person with the obx top mount manifold (not sure which one you are looking at) is that i mocked it on a gsr motor in a 95 coupe ex and there was barely any room for the front frame. also the other problem was even with a ebay t3 turbo .50 trim mocked up. the hood and front frame will need a lot of cutting. Also tested this on my gsr turbo integra and same thing. So for the obx top mount manifold. i said and dont waste your money on that.

nah the bottom end i had was built lol mit didnt hold up broke a rod bolt
now i did have a stock bottom end on a p*** log manifold that made 500 it was in an entire summer and never had any issues from it at all
i have that same bottom end in route to my house now to get put back in the crx, and we will see how it does this coming summer

I've had my ramhorn turned on my set up for 6 months now, very nice quality stuff! Heavy duty sch. 40 SS, basically the same product you would get from full race, inlinepro, etc...

Ah, gotcha.
That's impressive! What motor?
Nice, did you have any clearance issues in the engine bay?

Double post bump!
Anybody else, please feel free to contribute? I'm thinking about a good Ramhorn that's T4 flanged (not twin scroll) so that I can run a quick spool valve. Thoughts, ideas, and recommendations are highly appreciated! Thanks
