boost source
 

Most of the turbos you see have a little hole with a fitting on it so you can attach lines to it.. know what im saying https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emwink.gif
you use it as a source for boost(vaccum?)
anyways..i was looking on the aem board (i havent been there in ages) and to set up the aem to control boost(wastegate) they ahve diagrams showing that magical port being used..BUT my turbo doenst have one..=where or what else can I use for a source?

If you're using it to control boost why wouldn't it be better after the intercooler? I'd say tap it in after the throttle body so it sees exactly what the engine sees.
