Default Boost Solenoid to Wastegate Routing

Before I put everything together I am curious if anyone has run their setup this way:



Currently my setup is like this:


I've had no problems with my current setup, I'm just wondering if the first setup above is a better option, more responsive or control.

This is the way ive been told to set them up. Tuned a couple cars on S300 using this way with no issues...

Yes Ive tested 3 port method 2 and its stinks. The system needs a vent.
You want the use the 3 port method 1 over the single port.

might be a dumb question, but that method says for systems with high backpressure.

I'm running a full 3" exhaust and a random tech high flow cat, would this method still be beneficial?

Eh dont pay attention to that. This method is the same method a1320honda recommended. Its the standard ebc plumbing method when using both wastegate ports. Very common.
