Boost noob with some questions. Gurus in here!!
okay.. i searched and read like 50 pages of the ls boost thread but i still have a ton of questions. I'm gonna be boosting a 98 teg ls.. My goals are in the 250 -300 whp range on an entirely stock motor with lots of tuning!! Most of my questions are brand related. I will be piecing together a custom kit and I'm trying to make some decisions, decide what needs to be quality, what may be overkill, whats streetable etc..... Keeping in mind this car will be a daily driver and Im looking for 250-300 whp, im trying to decide on brand names and what not. Basically I want quality parts without spending too much money on parts that are meant for 500-700 whp! So heres what i have so far for my car....Please let me know what you change, add, get rid of etc....
Turbo: T3/T04E but which trim? 50, 57,or 60?
Manifold: spoolin log manifold
FMIC: Spoolin 24x9x32.75 intercooler
Fuel Pump: walbro 255
Injectors: rc 440's?
Wastegate: Tial... but what mm?
BOV: tial
okay and my last question is this: I know there has been some debate about the size of exhaust and dp so for my setup what would u recommend? I was leaning towards 2.5 intercooler piping, dp, and exhaust. Is this sufficient? Would my car realize much more power with 3 in. or would that be overkill considering my whp goals? Thanks in advance!!! I would like as much advice as possible!

Re: (Schister66)
Yeah do what ^ he says. 57 trim, and 38mm wastegate. But if you're only looking for around 250-300 hp you could also go with DSM 450 cc injectors and run a resistor box. Anything over 300 hp I'd go with the 550's. Also a 2.5" exhaust and IC piping is fine for your goals.

3 inches dp and exhaust would give u room for later to push 400whp just my .02
Good luck with the setup

as for the intercooler i used an ebay one and it works great. no leaks or anything. got it shipped to my door for like 150. if i had to do it all over again i would get the same one.
