Boost is limited to 4 psi, WHY?
I have the drag turbo kit, tial wastegate, with xs mbc, at first my boost would go to 4 psi then settle to 2psi, then all of a sudden it goes to 4psi and sustains, afterwards I close the mbc all the way and give it 12 full rotations to open the boost up, but still max psi is 4 psi and sustained with wide open throttle. Vac line goes from the turbo, to the mbc in port and then to the tial bottom port. Do I have this thing hooked up properly? Thanks for your help.

Which MBC are you using?
Which direction to you have the MBC installed inline on the pressure line? You should be using the intake manifold as your pressure source, not the compressor.

Most likely loosing boost through the blow off valve...it's blow it it all out. Tighten the BOV some more should fix it right up.

No, I am not running an air filter, the Drag gen 2 kits do not come with one. So I need to relocate my boost controller inlet vac line from the compressor to say the brake booster line. Do I just leave the compressor nipple open or do I have to go buy a cap for it, sorry for the repeated questions, Thanks.

Yeah, I have one from my old Greddy kit that I am going to put on, once I get all this problem solved. I do not think I mentioned that there is this really loud metal on metal sound coming from under the hood once and only while in boost. Not like detonation pinging, but louder. COuld this maybe be the turbo bearing?
