a shitty boost controller can cause boost spike

Re: boost cut? (ridin98civic)

where should the lines on the boost controller run to?

Re: boost cut? (ericstambaugh07)

from the compressor housing (or any good boost source) to the boost controller then from the boost controller to the wastgate. try removing the boost controller and just runnign your line straight to the wastegate, see if you are still spiking.

from the compressor housing? i have mine ran from my w.g then the other one just to a T'd off vacuum line going to my intake mani

that'll work. I have mine t'd off going to the brake booster line.

but a shitty bc can do that...
Also, how old is the wastegate and it's spring?
It's hard to boost more than 2X the springs psi without spiking issues.

Re: boost cut? (ericstambaugh07)

but when i tun my boost controler to all the way off..and blow though it..it doesnt let any air though..does that mean its good? or is it just cheap and creates boost spike?

You have to get your ECU chipped.... Cause I know a guy in my area that chips and tunes honda ecu's. Thats what i did... https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...es/emsmile.gif
