Default boost comes in really early after rebuild?

sup guys,
before i had my motor rebuilt,i had my turbo b18b tuned on uberdata on 10 psi,no problems or anything. then i rebuilt my motor with forged internals, but same compression. now i know before i go on,i know i need to get a re-tune,and i am as soon as i get some cash. anyways,so everythings together and ive been driving the car for now 13xx miles. when we first got the car together, the car ran SOOOO sluggish and boost came in REALLY early, like full boost on a t3/t04 at like 2,500. so i posted on here and someone said the timing is retarded. so i advanced the timing as far as it would go,and the car seems to run smoother and better, and boost seems to hold off a little longer. But even still, the car runs kinda sluggish, even though i need a tune. like i can hit any amount of boost, and the car will go like its still running all motor,it doesnt move at all really. and boost seems to still come in early. before the rebuild, full boost probably came in around 3,500,now its coming in at about 3,000. could the sluggish problem, and the early boost be a timing issue? not ignition timing, but cam/crank timing, like the timing belt is off. or do you just think it is in fact the tuning, and i need a tune that bad. im just trying to figure it out,b/c im not trying to go get it tuned, get it on the dyno and find out my timing or something is off,so then i gotta fix that, then go all the way back to the dyno and do it again.

yeah man, the belt itself. take the belt back off, start from scratch and re-time it. should feel much better

so why are you boosting it if you need to get it re-tuned ? i dont get it.

the car shouldn't be seeing full boost, etc. or any boost till you have at least checked to see what the a/f is running at.

im lost.

basically... what we're trying to say is.

#1 never (high) boost an untuned car...
#2 make sure you KNOW what timing you are REALLY running
#3 KNOW what your AFR's are...and a light show doesnt count. YOU NEED A DATALOGGING WIDEBAND....or at least just a regular wideband
#4 If something is wrong...dont keep doing whatever it is that makes it do it. STOP. THINK. FIX. TEST.

I personally think you should take it to a tuner...and PAY them to make it right. Take notes and learn a little bit. Im not sure you're capable of doing this the right way before you expletive something up. No offense, just trying to save you hassle in the long run.

wait,who ever said i had a cheap *** 50 dollar light show air/fuel gauge?

im pretty sure im in the clear, seeing that im using a wideband o2 sensor, instead of the stock narrowband, with a cheap a/f gauge.

His car was tuned for the same setup, compression, and turbo.Aslong as the AFR's are aight and the timing isnt wack, dont worry.
Im not saying "dont get it re-tuned" but i dont think its ur problem.Maybe not completley.Fix ur car THEN get it retuned, it should be running pretty good semming nothing has changed really except strength.
