Default boost B18c 10.6 compression

We are boosting a b18c with 10.6 compression is this a good idea for running only 6 pounds with an sc61?
How much hp to expect?
Is this something that can get by reliably?

in eg, would this be enough to get it into the 12s?

Thanks guys

I got 12's in a dc2 on stock internals, be sure you have lots of fuel/proper tuning. ANf the car should make hp in the low 200's with thaty turbo at that psi, youll need more boost for 12's and reliability is all on how you tune it-get retarded and rich, not lean and broke

I would run more boost.

Shouldn't be a problem with proper tuning on a healthy motor

No reason why not, plenty of people running 12 in Integras on stock internals.

Thanks guys</TD></TR></TABLE>

Thanks guys. running more boost, with that kinda static compression, that may not be that advantageous for daily driving, but i do wonder how many psi it can hold safely with proper tuning.

when you say more boost(for 12's), how much more do you mean?

Whatever it takes to get to 300 wheel HP or so.

Tuned properly you can hit your goal no problem. Tuning and the right components is the key to whether your motor can handle it or not

Depending how heavy the car is 12's shouldnt be a problem, i was hitting mid 13's in my SI with only 214hp.
