BONE STOCK b18c 379whp @ 14psi 100oc pump gas tuned via Supr Dave
Supr Dave @ Whip Factory proves himself the man once again pushing the limits of my 100% OEM stock internalled 97 US spec b18c1 with 379WHP @ 14psi on pump 100 octaine! Off the WG spring, the tune is set for 9psi which netted 315whp for 93 octaine daily driver use. I drive this car everywhere, true story!
The graph:
The build:
130k mile OEM stock 97 US b18c1 with ARP headstuds (only non OEM internal mod)
00 spec ITR cams
LS trans with GSR ring/pinion and ITR LSD
Slowmotion Ind. ramhorn
GT40 "blowzilla"
.70 a/r on a .63 a/r t3 hotside
2.5" piping
OBX intercooler (i make that **** work baby!)
hondata Tuned via the Supr Dave @ whip factory
1000cc injectors
3" DP
MSD pro billet dizzy with 6al and digital 2-step
I will be starting a thread in the drag racing forum. Can you say 10 second car on pump gas on a drag radial??? I can, il be making the thread next with a link to be added in here. CHEERS!

Re: (Ls1 FD3s)
O sweet good for you.
He never check my plugs and it was a boosted s2000 motor.
He ended up cracking a ring from detontaion and scored a cylinder wall, on top of that he still charged me.

Well i am sorry to hear that, but ive never heard of a failure under dave's name and i honestly think it wasnt the tuner's fault for the catastrophy.

It was 100 percent his fault.
1. He never checked my plugs
2. I dont think he knows wtf he is doing with aem ems.
3. He was installing AEM software when I pulled up.
This is the third failure Ive heard under dave... 2 others were blown headgakets.

blown headgaskets cannot be blamed on the tuner, like i said, probably wasnt the tuner's fault. I have seen way tooo many poorly put together cars. It is your job to check plug gaps/plug heat range prior to arriving at the dyno. As we ALL know honda engines were designed N/a, in thoery its your fault for putting the turbo on, lol just ******* with ya!
Case and point is my threads i created based on my experiences with Dave. Nothing but good work, skillful tuning, and reliable tunes with exceedingly high WHP numbers on a stock b18c. Granted he normally would NOT tune for that much WHP on anyone elses stock engine due to keeping it under the danger zone of the stock engine's limits. I insisted we make the 380, it was my goal, he made it happen succesfully.
