Is the Blox IM a good choice for my application?
Hallo,
my new setup will be a build (stock sleeves) B16 engine with a GT28RS and aprox. 18psi boost and i'am searching for a better intake manifold for a good price.
i know the victor x is a good IM for the price but i've also heared that it is more or top end. i'am searching for a IM especialy to improve my mid range tourqe and maybe a bit help at top end
the car has to be a auto-x car and therefor not the top end drag racing monster. throttle and boost response from the lower and mid rpm's are more important. this is also the reason why i choosed the 28RS.
the price of the blox is very good this is the reason i take a closer look to it.
here are my questions:
1.) are there any problems with the stock sensors (eacv, vacuum connections etc.) with this manifold
2.) are (and if how much) there any gains in mid range power over the stock and/or the victor x manifold.
3.) does anyone have first hand experiences with this manifold?
Thanks
Malte.
