take your turbo to a shop that rebuild turbos and have them look at it if it's really the turbo seal. make sure your crankcase breather is not clogged coz i read somewhere that a clogged crankcase breather will cause blue smoke.

i had blue smoke problem before until last 2 weeks ago and only at the exhaust side as well and here's what i did BUT i'm NOT SURE which one cured it:
- i took off my valve cover breather and put a stocking on it
- i cleaned the pcv with carb cleaner
- change my oil to regular 20w-50 oil from semi synthetic 15w-50 and i also lowered the oil level to the correct level.
- i put my muffler back in.

i'm not sure if any of these cured it but no smoke up to now.

i heard that you could probably replace the seals yourself but balancing it won't be possible so have a shop check it.

How are you running your oil drain? If you run your oil drain(from the turbo) too low, Where the oil in the pan is backin up the oil in the turbo, and oil will leak into the exhaust housing and you'll get your problem. how long before you noticed the problem too? This has happen to me with two different turbo's on two different occasions.

if you read corky bell's book on turbocharging and other automotive books, clogged crankcase breather can cause blue smoke.
