Default Blow off Valve (Searched)

do all turbos, including stock, HAVE to have blow off valves? i know the BOV lets the excess air out of the turbo or whatever, but i'm wondering if a car with a stock turbo has one?

Most do.
True, it is not "needed" but very wise to have one. Think of it as a safe measure.

its a good idea because it will releave extra pressure against the backside of the turbo's wheel.
