Default blow off valve fitment

So I decided to buy my blow off valve second hand off ebay (hks ssqv4) and it has arrived today.

I checked two videos of how to install it and I'm still pretty confused I think I'm missing a mount or an adapter.

That's what I got in the post. Nothing else.

Quick edit: my kit isn't fitted yet I thought these just snapped on my the manifold the video I've seen people mount it to a separate tube first? Sorry for the retardness

There are different types of flanges for BOVs. What kind of BOV do you have right now?

I don't think he has one at all. What many people do when they have charge piping that is "pieced" together is they use a tube "section" (like a test pipe on an exhaust system) that bridges two intercooler pipes together, instead of one larger piping section that comes on most kits (where there is a choice as to what flange they want to use.

philcivicjordan needs to understand that his BOV needs to have a weld flange included in the kit that must be welded to either his existing intercooler piping, or a new section of pipe he's creating. The kit should come with . 1) Weld flange 2) BOV snap ring 3) rubber gasket that is sandwiched between the interior portion of the flange and the BOV itself.

At least, this is what I'm gathering he's trying to ask, no?

For steel piping:

ATP Turbo HKS Steel BOV flange

For Aluminum Piping:
ATP Turbo HKS Aluminum BOV Flange

But I have no sympathy if you got a knock off on eBay, because half the time they don't come with anything. Even an eBay ad with an actual store (be it brick/mortar or virtual) would be more attune to giving you the legit kit than just the knock off company. The rubber o-rings from the knock-offs don't seal well at all.

Good luck.

Cheers dude!

Yeah I went second hand to save costs so that's why I'm in this situation. Pretty sure it's genuine

Me being from the uk I doubt that will work out so great. Thanks for the offer though

Was hoping I already had it. Turns out the guy before me didn't run a bov on his setup so yeah gonna have to get the flange and have it welded.
If I HAVE to cut the pipe and run its as a t piece then **** happens. Not to keen on the idea. Just genral OCDness
