i have an AC block guard and i have no problems. Technically it should help the sleeves last longer at higher rpms. But who knows its a myth.

I have one in my D to keep sleeve movement to a minimum. I'm under no misconception that'll save my sleeves from detonation though. Hell, no clue if it helps with sleeve walk.... but 20k plus miles on it without a single issue.

GE guard in d16z6. Installed by slip fit, no welding, hone afterwards.
