Bling bling-----maxrev manny
Spent about 5-6 hours total on the polish job. Kinda cheesed out and skimped on the bottom side--but who cares who's gonna look under it?
My friggin hands and fingers are killin me.....lets see I count 4 blisters
Oh well, here it is....see me waving "HI"??
Im thinking about doing the downpipe too! Maybe after my hands heal a little bit though....
Couple more here

You used your hands to sand the entire thing? Would a dremel do the job? I plan on sanding my Maxrev manifold as well when it gets here. What grade sand papers did you use?
By the way that thing looks SAWWEEEEET!

Hell no I didnt do all of it by hand. I did use a dremel with a flapper sanding wheel (grade 60 - i think) to get most of the rough stuff off. Then I wet sanded the rest of the way. Using 240,320,400--big jump--1000, then finished with 1500. Then red rouge on the welds and also to cut most of the deep scratches I put into it with the dremel Then finished with the white rouge.
I think it came out purty

Will it blue and brown once you run it for a while? I would consider doing that, but if its going to go away in 3 days, I would rather save my hands!

Re: Bling bling-----maxrev manny (dustin)
I've been polishing my mani off and on for a week now. I also started with a 60 grit flap wheel, then went to 220 grit. I'm about to start wet sanding with 440, then on to 1000. I bought a polishing wheel for my table grinder that I might try out also.
