Also, what engine did you have when it blew? I'm sure you can get the car up and running before too long, boosted too.

Dude I bought an LS longblock for $128 when I lived in the bay area a couple of years ago. I'm sure if you hit up all of the junkyards you can find one pretty fast, I always saw B18A/B18B's everywhere in totalled cars.

if you dont have enough money to fund another ls block then you shouldn't have a turbo kit

Yeah, don't give up man. Even if you have to remove the engine yourself from the car, get a buddy, take the head off, and chuck the bottom end up the hill yourselves.
You will hate going back to N/A. Buck up, and get back on the ride.

when you were in the bay area, exactly where did you look for these motors? I know of like 2 pick and pulls in the area and they never have any hondas, i guess i'm just looking in all the wrong places

why would you need a retune??? you blew your motor, it was stock, if you get the same one you just use your same exact setup. just like it never happened... until it happens again, then you spend $200 more. the beauty of the ls. dime a dozen, cheap as hell. you should save up and buy two just in case. and like batboy said, id figure out why the thing spiked like that. you might need to spend another $1.50 on zip ties for ur vacuum lines. start savin boyyy

dont sell the kit, you will miss it too much and regret. get another cheap *** ls and boost on.. you may also want to get retuned and figure out why it spiked. maybe this time invest in a pop off valve like greddy's

Wrong, he WILL need a retune. You can't assume that the next engine is identical to the last... He should get a tune with the new engine so that he doesn't have to keep handing over money for engine after engine like you said.
