bigger DP for d series greddy kit???
i have a greddy kit on my z6. came with a 2" dp. i have a custom mandrel bent 3" exhaust, i wanted a 2 1/2" dp cuz my stock 2" is dented in and tiny. anybody know where i can find a cheap 2 1/2" dp to bolt to this turbo? will i have to buy an entire new 02 housing, or whatever its called? i am still in the dark a little when it comes to turbo talk. anybody that can help direct me in the direction for what i need and fairly priced, i would appriciate it. TIA

I have the downpipe from my kamikaze header which looks very similar to the greddy downpipe. Even the flanges are the same (and oriented the same). I'll post pics in a sec

I dunno if it will fit, but it looekd liek it woudl fit my friends (92-93 SI hatchback) greddy kit. The downpipe was too logn or we would have tried to bolt it up.

yea except i have a 2" collector on my 02 housing. and my dp has the same front curve, then a small sideways one to go uinder the oil pan perfect. thanks for the idea though

Ahhh, sowwy about that, my friend has a crush bent downpipe from midas that he used, so it wask idn of hard to tell

Headertech used to sell a stainless steel 3" downpipe for a 92-95 civic with a Greddy kit. I think it was around $100 or $150 I saw pics of it and it looked pretty good. I'm sure if you call them they would make one for you.

cool. couldnt find a link for DP in there? anybody else know where to get a 2.5" dp that bolts to the sohc greddy kit? or anybody know where i can get a bigger turbo, like a 16g instead of 15g? or whatever the numbers are, that will bolt to my manifold, and still clean my ac setup on the z6 in a eg? my friend (who drives a dsm) is convinced that my car is going to die top end hard cuz it is a small turbo, even on 9 or 10psi. only tring to get it to pull to about 6800. thanks again
