big quetion im a turbo noob need to know the difference if any of you have time.
I need to know something Im lookin to get 280-300 to the wheels. Now with that I just read the thread about do I need to sleeve the block for more boost on the d16 or d17 is it? well anyway to make a long story short I would like a nice spoolup and a descent topend run .
Now I was thinkin about a t3/t4 straight dont kjnow the specs on it someone just told me just get a straight t3/t4. Now Ive read on cheap turbo that a t3/to4e can give you 275-280 on 6psi. NOw heres where the real stomper comes in I know the set-up I want just dont know the turbo . I want to get people from the beginining around then and on the highway without runnin too much boost.
But I dont want that much of lag even though thats not gonna happen its for a h22a this stuff supposed to go onto. Now I figure I can get a t3/t4 with a 63 trim with 60ar housing. how much is the boost gonna be before I hit 300whp? with 550 injectors? and do I still need to resleeve do pistons and rods and sleeves as well? even after some good well tuning?

I am NO turbo expert, but from what I think I know that .60 .63 will spool pretty quick for you with that large motor, however, you if you want to make serious HP and torque numbers you are probably going to want to go with something larger. I remember hearing that you can figure around a 10-12 HP gain per PSI you run so you can do that math to figure out your goal.

I would recommend building that H22, they have a bad rep for blowing up. At the very least sleeve it, but you might as well do rods and pistons too...
