Default Big problem with Golden Eagle Oil Sandwich Adapter

If you intend on using this on your Prelude, be warned! It will not allow enough clearance to get your oil filter on. It just wont clear the crossmember behind the engine!!

The only way it will fit is if you cut off the lip on that crossmember to allow the oil filter to slide in over the nipple on the sandwich adapter.

Just as a clarification this should only be the case on base model ludes (IIRC you swapped in a base setup, right Torin?) as the SH's filter is higher up on the block to clear the ATTS unit.

No. I use it on my GSR with no problems, this must be specific to Prelude's.

does anyone make a shallower filter? I'm not familiar with the ludes, I know my civic filter is ******* tiny.
