i would take the time to add a shroud. my spal 13" keeps the ECTs under 190* around town and an short highway trips. but after about an hour on the highway, temps will slowly start to creep above 200*. i recently added a shroud but havent been on any long trips to compare results

So far temps stay consistent after an hour of driving, this car wont be on any long trips, but ill keep that in mind!

I always hear problems with running aftermarket fans.. OEM fan is by far the best, so every turbo setup I have done in the past always had room to fit the stock OEM fan/shroud (GSR/ITR). Car stays cool all the time, even on a the circuit track with a half size Koyo rad and a 12" x 24" x 4" intercooler and a USDM Integra front-end.

id put my oem fan back in but then i wouldnt be able to run a filter on the turbo so its kind of a lose lose situation.

An electric waterpump with a good controler can keep the optimum flow through the radiator at all rpm:s. Davis craig is the best waterpumps I have seen. To route the water to both sides of the head and have it flowed down in the block and take the water out on both sides of the engine block is a classic way of controlling the heat of high output engines. It is important to have equal flow at all exits and all inlets though. Have a big as radiator in the rear with two 13" spals and a shroud should be a ticket to have it under controll too..

I've never had good luck with half radiator setups on my past cars. I did change to a full-core in my DA integra and it made a night/day difference.

You probably dont have the room for that in your current setup... but for anyone else reading this thread, it would benefit you to build a kit around a full radiator setup. A good shrouded fan setup is also critical.
