best ways to make good hp on a n2o LS.
any tricks or tips on spraying on a b18b1 with b16 pistons. motor already has a jg edelbrock header on it. I think the stock intake mani will support a good amount of flow. Im looking into a set of crower cams, I want to keep it ls just cause I like weird junk

I would love to build a nice direct port setup. I also wanna do water meth on it too. I know the stock rods are good for 300 whp. just wondering if nitrous has diff stresses on the motor then normal boost.

Yes and no to your question about stock rods. The parts will be feeling similar stress between boost and nitrous seeing as they're both forms of forced induction. Nitrous though I would say is more abusive on the rods (unless using a progressive/ramping setup) even if it's the same 50 shot vs. 50hp from say 6psi because the turbo gradually spools up and forces air in, nitrous shoots in all once causing a surge of power. If you plan on spraying a decent bit (75-100hp shot) reliably I'd go with some eagles. If you're looking for a consistant 125+ shot I'd grab some Manley Turbo Tufffs or Carillos.
As far as cams some crower 403 are a good all around cam for LS heads and will probably up the power a bit when juicing also. The 404s have even a higher power potential (more duration, thus moving the power band into the upper rpms) but the compromise is a lumpy idle and maybe a small loss in low to midrange power when utilizing stock ports. Either way a well-built, juiced LS would be a nice, torquey, street/strip setup.

so a ramping system would be much safer? I will be running a 75 n2o pill for now with a 125 gas pill just to keep it safe. ran the same jets on my buddys stock gsr and it ran good but made **** power after 7k so it should do great on my ls.
Im also wanting to do water meth if I need to to keep my timing and since my cr is 11.0 to 1.

also if it is tuned well and the motor is healthy do I need to be worrying about stock sleeves? or will the rings fry first or what?
trying to get a dialed setup that will hook up and leave people out of the whole on the street.
