best turbo for h22?
stock block running 7 pounds. i want a quick spool, but also a good price range. i did have a t3/to4e i was gonna run, but i had to sell it for some quick cash, plus everyone said it would be a bit to much. give your opinions please

Re: best turbo for h22? (11seclude)
kinda depends on what you think is quick spooling. i have a sc34 (57 trim .63A/R) and get full boost by 5k rpm on my b18c and thats enough for me. also remember that a t3/t4 on 7psi will make more power than a t3 or t28 on 7psi. im sure an h22 would have no problem with one of the smaller t3/t4 turbos

I use a t3 60-1, 70 ar with 4 inch inlet on the compresser. The turbine is a turbonetics stage 5 2.5 inch wheel with a 82 ar..it makes great power.this is in a 92 hatch. full boost at 4800 rpm

^ what is your motor set up? and what is your peak boost. that seems like it may be to big for my set up, custom log manifold, tial 38mm, turboxs RFL, JRC FMIC, custom piping, and 3in downpipe into full 3in exhaust

yeah whats your setup? looks like you are gettin some great response from the 60-1. damn 2.2 liters spool those big turbos so much better.

so are you looking for something with better spool time than the sc61 for your daily driver? do you think a smaller t3/t4 would work or did you want something even smaller?

My set up is..
port,polished and deburred head
jun valvesprings and retainers with skunk 2 valves ,three angle valve job 8500 rev limit
stock cams micro polished
modified stock intake manifold no iabs.completelly gutted and portmatched to head
h22 tb overbored, cold start bypassed
arp head studs
block gaurd
stock head gasket
balance shafts removed and oil ports sealed
h23 tensioner conversion
stock rods
stock pistons
all bearings and seals are oem honda
new factory tranny. I used 2001 accord coupe linkage and the molex shift assymbly its just like the rsx. works real nice.
clutch masters light flywheel
act hd pressure plate
sav clutch 6 puck sprung disc. so far so good
turbo is turbonetics/garret hybrid t3 60-1 compressor 70ar with 4 inch inlet turbine is turbonetics t3 stage 5 82ar
used a old fmax log manifold
old tial 35/40 hybrid wastegate
did all piping myself 2 inch mandril bent on hot 2.5 on the cold
spearco triple core intercoler
greddy type r blow off, its alright
sci ignition
blater coil
vitek plug wires
ngk plugs
p28 socketed running uberdata right now.its not to bad .
boosting 11.5 pounds I estimate around 350 hp or so.
Well thats pretty much everything.

Re: (1700anddroping)
i didnt want to start a new thread on this, but i have a built h22 w/ 9:1 CR crower rods, je pistons and hondata s200 w/ 550cc injectors. i am shooting for about 300-350whp, at 15psi or so. what do you think the best turbo will be for my goals on an h22?
