I have a lsvtec turbo, fully built bottom end and semi built head with a garrett t3t4 turbo for now only making 360hp 300tq on 91oct. looking to upgrade to be able to make 420+hp on 91oct, what do you guys think would be a good choice? also i dont want the turbo to be to laggy. and i would like to keep my tq where its at now or higher. last thing its a dd, any info would be greatly appreciated

You won't have a choice but to go bigger for that kind of power on only 91octane gas. you're looking at anything over 61-65lbs/min for that. These include the SC61, GT3540S, GT35R, 60-1, Borg-warner S360NET, Borg-warner S259, and Precision 61 and 6262 series.

yea i was looking into the sc61 and the 60-1 but wasnt really sure if it would make the power that i was looking for. i know the 35r would make that easily but i wanted to keep it journal bearing. which turbine a/r do you think would be best to use?

ive also heard about the GT3540S is that journal or ball bearing? what hp is it rated, how much do those things run for?
