Best STREET tire for DRY traction?
I've been out of the game for a couple years now and I'm wondering if there's been any changes to the tire scene. I relied on Falken Azenis with the crisscross pattern before and loved them. I see a new one is out called the Azenis RT-615. Thoughts on these two? Any other suggestions on a fully street tire? I don't want to run a drag radial, they wear out too quickly and are just too dangerous in the rain.
Sorry for posting this here, but no one goes in the Tire/Wheel section...

Re: (SPL Dan)
A drag radial is a street tire though, Hey MT (mickey thompson) just came out with a new street tire thats almost a full slick just one slice down the tread to make it street legal. Besides that Falken Azenis are really good actual street tires.

Which one? I listed two. As I said DR's just aren't "street" enough for safety and wear concerns.

- My friend w/ a boosted hatch has them and they hardly slip at ALL... nicest street tires i have seen. Except BFG's but their wear is much faster.. So all-in-all Azenis=pwn

Re: (jdm_hatch23)
k, thanks for the opinion, but AGAIN, I need to know which Azenis you're referring to. The classic design or the new RT - 615.
edit: oh, i see they're replacing the old Azenis sport with the RT-615. The old design is out of production.
