im in the process of buildin up my d16 turbo setup, so far i have
p&p z6 head
sk2 springs
sk2 retainers
sk2 valves
sk2 stg2 turbo cam,
spoolin prototype ex mani
t3/to4e .57trim 63ar
spoolin ic and pipng
tial 38mm wg
tial 50mm bov
stock bore d16z6
eagle rods
cp pistons
acl bearings
arp headstuds
i still got misc. parts to get and finish putting the block together, but when done im shooting for 400-450whp range, plan on gettin it tuned on neptune
what aftermarket manifold would u prefer. i really dont wanna use the stocke mani, im looking at either sk2 or golden ealge. which mani would u prefer for my build

Re: best intake manifold for turbo-d
I think the question you should be asking yourself is where do I want this motor to make power?
4500-7500 - performer x/skunk 2/aebs/worked z6
6000-9000 - golden eagle/venom/str
The way I understand things, the larger plenum shorter runner intakes will give you gains in top end power, while a moderate increase in plenum size and slightly shortened runners will help mid range...

If edelbrock made a victor x for d's I'd say the same... I don't have any experience or dyno charts to back up my words though...
