Default Best fuel upgrades for 600whp..

Ok, im wondering if i should keep my Walbro 255 intank and get another big inline pump with it.. along with upgraded lines.... or do i have to ditch the walbro for one big intank pump...

What exactly do i need to do to my fuel system to support 600whp
im goin with RC 1000cc injectors, and AEM Fuel Rail and an AEM FPR

Pump wise an intank walbro 255hp with an additional Walbro 255 inline (in series) should be able to safely support 600whp. The 1000cc inj should be enough.

What else is there? Most other brands are just rebadged Walbros such as the Holley pump I use.

..imo, you should just sump the tank and use aeromotive A1000 and call it a day. with just the intank and 1000cc injectors you are starting to run out at 600hp. So do it once, then you won't out grow it.

..@600hp you would still be running out of injector, and making the pump run hard. so to answer your question, no upgrading the lines would not do much for you.

ok, so to more out of it, i would need the bigger pump, or a second walbro to help the injectors out and decrease duty cycle?

D@nny here has made 650 on an intank walbro and 1000cc injectors.
check the sig for my current set up on an intank walbro and 1000cc injectors.you will be just fine.

You could also use a bosch 044 pump, -8 lines from the stock location (no sump needed) and and use your aem fuel rail and afpr. That's what I been using for the past 3 years and it working flawless. My tuner also made 680whp on his own car with the same setup. This is on 1000cc injectors

What would happen if i left my wallbro intank and then run a line to an aeromotive 1000 without sumping it, i was just curious?

i guess that all depends on your comfort level. sure it can make 650, its been done. i made 613, and i dont feel comfortable at the level its at now let alone any further. im not willing to risk many thousands of dollars on a maxxed out 90 dollar pump. its a great pump at a great price, the walbro is the all round pump that works for 95% of the honda community but for the 5% above 600 its not the best option.

i would sump the tank top, talk to stan@fast turbo he has a nice kit.

..i never said it couldn't be done. im sure "D@nny" has maid 650 with an intank and 1000cc injectors, but i can tell you that is pretty much maxed out with almost no room for growth. at that hp level, your putting a strain on the pump and running out of injector, so in imo i gave him a good alternative after saying that his tuner was not comfortable with just the intank and small injectors.

edit** Hybrdthry911 beat me to it. well said

Ah keep in mind guys the Walbro does work at thos epower levels BUT at the track by the end of the track they heat up and lean out, Jason Hunt has stated this in the past on his CRX and so has a local racer to me. It will work definately, BUT keep in mind also the weight of car will put more load on it than say a light light CRX as well.

..You might not run into a prob., but are you willing to take that chance?
...you might **** away all that time and money if the pump takes a **** under high boost, and the motor leans out. not a good thing.
-jus my 2cents.
