Re: best deal for rad's (father)
What about OEM. Unless you are road racing you really don't need one of those radiators. I have an integra and we use a full size rad. stock. I now use a used dual core half-size radiator from a del sol VTEC. I've been in 96+ degree weather in heavy traffic with zero problems. OEM will be just fine for your DD and occasional Drag racing needs

Good question. I don't think there are too many tests, but I guess if your fan starts to come on a lot or your car overheats when boosting it could be time. I know there are people with 450+HP on little radiators like me. It's not really HP, but how you use your car. Like I said DD and drag racing it's not a big deal, but if you plan on serious autocrossing or road racing then you may want to looking into that along with an oil cooler

It also depends on where you live......It gets mid 90's in South LA almost every day. Couple that with some traffic and a big front mount blocking the radiator and you may run into some cooling issues, I'd always rather be safe than sorry. I personally run a c&r and it works well, but they are hard to come by right now.

weather and traffic really shouldn't be a problem unless you have A/C on as well
