Can the exedy organic racing clutch handle 240-250hp?
Im gonna be turboing my LS after i run a compression test and see what shape its in with my tax return. What i wanna know is i already have an exedy organic clutch which grabs really good for what power i have now. Would that clutch slip if i wer to boost my ls and be pushing 240-250hp cuz thats what my goal is nothing to major. I just got basic bolt ons for my ls as u can see in my sig.

hey man your clutch should do fine with around 250 horsepower but if i were you i would upgrade your throttle body and intake manifold and up your fuel ratios and presure in order to get the right power out of your turbo. fuel+air+horsepower if you got air but no fuel you will be goinng nohere. so if you up the air up the fuel with it. and then intake manifold and throttle body will just let more air so again air equals power if mixed with the right fuel.

exedy claims that the clutch is good for up to 350 hp. i was pushing 225 wheel hp on spray with the clutch and there was no slip at all. i'm very impressed with the clutch overall i think that it will be perfect for your setup

and you most definitely "will be goinng nohere" without a rich enough A/F ratio, cuz detonation will kill the engine.

No you didn't read it right, he keeps saying if you have too much air and not enough fuel you won't make enough power so you have to upgrade your TB and intake to let more air in!
LOL
But that is remedied by increasing your fuel ratios.
I think he read that article on the Internet that starts off saying "Your engine is basically a big air pump....".

The Exedy organic should hold 300whp according to the R&D and Coximport people. I've just put one in, but I haven't sprayed on it yet. I should be pushing right aroud 250whp so we'll see how it goes.
