CP's (new design)
Great piston. Quality is top notch. Rings are great too. C-clip lock for the wrist pins so nothing to worry about. And...the wrist pins provided actually fit properly in the piston (I had problems with wiseco's)

any piston and rod combo will work for you is all about money an personal perfrence. i run je piston and eagle rods in my b16a , and im shooting for 450 hp at most. There is no way to tell when a rod or piston or rod will let go in a motor all you can do is do the machine work needed for ya build and get it tunned

I like CP because they are machined to such a tight tolerance that I didnt have to mach each piston to a certain cyl. Just had all the cyl bored to the same dimension.

Re: Best Aftermarket Pistons?
In my opinion, there is NO BETTER Piston brand over the other. If a piston brand was bad, they wouldnt be in business at all. The reason theyre around is because they all work just fine. Each piston brand has racers using them high HP applications, so they all must be succesful in their own way.
Summary: There is not one BEST piston brand over the other. Its all PREFERENCE. Choose which bandwagon you want to follow. Thats simply how pistons are chosen these days.

I've always liked CP pistons....having said that, i'm running Arias in my LS/VTEC and i have another set sitting around home for a possible second built short block. I think that any of them will work just fine.
