The beginning of my turbo build!
I havent posted much lately so i figured i would start by posting up the begining of my turbo build I know its not the most amazing kit ever but for 1800 bucks its not bad at all. Plus on saturday i got another box of some other misc. parts from some kid super cheap. Now just waiting to get some injectors and a fuel pump so i can order my ecu
Let me know what you think.
The current parts list so far is:
turbonetics t3/t4 turbo,
cast manifold,
turbonetics evolution wastegate,
hks ssqv bov
treadstone performance fmic and charge piping,
High flow fuel filter,
Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator w/ gauge
autometer gauges (boost, egt, oil temp, oil press)
exhaust wrap,
and all the oil/fuel lines and fittings.
still looking for some 440cc injectors and a walbro 255lph fuel pump, let me know if you have anything.

why not 440's? im not planning on makin too much power, 200-300 would be good for now, considering i have 185,000 miles on stock internals. i probably will only be boosting 6-8 psi for now.

Well, honestly, going a little bigger is fine, but don't buy 1000's. I usually tell guys to give themselves some flexibility, but don't go so big that your sacrificing idle quality to have 300whp. If your likely to sit on this setup a little while I wouldn't go beyond 660's or 770's MAX. JMO.
That's pretty good for the money you spent so far. Take pics the whole way.

An injector driver helps the idle quality, but you can always rebuy injectors. If you get 660's or something, you'll never have trouble selling them and just rebuying some 1000's or bigger.
