low 11’s should be a easy goal if your a decent driver, I just took my 93si with a b18c1 (234whp & 212 torque) to a 11.8 @ 116.9mph with a bad 60ft 1.89. I ran three high 11 sec passes and I was having issues and shifting around 7-7500. I’m actually doing a complete retune starting tonight and hoping for a very deep 11 or high 10 in two weeks.

Your dyno graph looks suspect. A heavy dip in the torque curve should translate into a dip in the HP curve, and yet, yours is unaffected. Why ??? What dynojet software are you using ???

I'm good.. Really. Thanks, anyway. I'm Just, well, concerned for your well-being seeing that the two of you are just googly-eyed over this dyno for ... what reason again?

i think it’s a dynojet 9? They said it was the newest one but yeah the torque reading where all over the place. Since the car feels good and a drop in torque like that be very noticeable so I jut chopped it up to the dyno.

I'm really not trying to be a smart ***. My attempt at getting to the main question with humor seems to have failed.

This turbo is being displayed without a lot of data behind it. It's also being shown at a very low boost pressure ratio for its size, relative to its capabilities with no background as to purpose, use or even what the plan is for this build and use of this turbo as indicia as to whether or not this would fit another user's needs.
You haven't made any comparisons with similar turbochargers be they in the BW camp or other manufacturers. For example, what, in your opinion, makes the 362-sxe different from the older standard S362? Any differences in turbine wheel or housing options, CHRA changes or design changes from the original? Any aerodynamic changes or fluiddynamic design changes from the S362, or S366, or similar?

I guess I'm looking for the "tech" in your thread here, whether it's empherical evidence, or even an opinion as to what made you choose this over other options besides price. You just posted a dyno of one being used in a common setup at low pressure and said.. "Cool. This speaks for itself".

I as well as many others here do appreciate the contribution, but, what's the point other than... "cool"..

Just put a little more effort into this so it's worthy of being a tech issue ya know? I'm not expecting the world, just well, more than a vague dyno graph.

Yeah the power by mph is a little anorgasmic haha.
Id like to see an rpm sheet if there is one. Do you remember when you get full boost on 3-4 gear?
On the other hand any dyno sheet is usefull.

On the tech things 62mm sxe looks VERY close to the 62MM FMW, thats close enough to the s363.
Still id get 362 sxe over anything if i wanted "single scroll" due to better efficiency islands and better choke line on the lower pressure ratios.
On the sxe vs s362 FMW surge line in very close.

Pound per pound id still get the good old cast s360 177272 that already comes with .91 divided housing and spend the saved $ on a divided setup.
s360 will do like 68 lbs/min

Why is the S3xx SX-E series of turbo still such an unknown entity ? Finding non-diesel related dyno graphs, videos, data etc. is really hard. I'm genuinely wondering and not just trying to be a smart *** -the pricing is reasonable, the flow rates are competitive (on paper at least) and BW has a solid reputation for durable, well made turbos.

Has everyone just made the switch to PTE in this 62-68mm range and is ignoring the non-EFR Borg stuff ?

Imo its about the turbine housing options and lazy spool of the big 80mm turbine wheel on the s366 that made a bad name spool wise.
People most of the times just want a simple t3 setup.
Plus Garrett is was allways a dominating manufacturer.
Me? Id run anything BUT precision. Unless race car
