Default Basemap + 3" Exhaust...Too lean?

Currently Im running a basemap on my setup (ls motor, uberdata, sc34) with a rough tune for 7 psi. As of now Im running the stock exhaust, but am about to switch to a full 3" setup.

What Im wondering, is whether or not switching to a full 3" exhaust setup will cause the car to run lean to the point where I need to get it tuned as soon as I get the exhaust on there? Will it be dangerous to run a 3" exhaust as opposed to my stock exhaust without getting it tuned right away?

put the 3" on and retard your timing 12 degrees... you'll be fine.

generally anything you add that can change the curent setup you should retune. but if your boosting on a basemap, i guess you dont care about being tuned propperly anyway.

good point... don't run to long on a basemap... if at all... bad news.

Well my tuner isnt available for a couple more weeks, so I was jw if I put the exhaust on now, if running it for those two weeks would do any serious damage. Ive only been running the basemap for a week though, but early september it will get tuned.

Oh, and just to clear things up a bit, Im not running on a "basemap" as it is normally refered to, I just meant its not tuned. Im running off a tuned map for a setup nearly identical to mine. Only difference is the intercooler I beleive.
