Default Bailhatch Top mount manifold, D16Z6 60trim T3, 12psi, 13.1 @ 109mph

Setup;

93 hatch
Uberdata
DSM 450s
255 fuel pump
D16z6 with eagles and SRPs
Bailhatch top mount manifold
T3 60 trim .60 .63 with ported turbine housing
Tial 38mm
SAAB 7x21" FMIC
Custom 3" DP
Custom 2.5" cat
Custom 2.5" exhaust

These were my first runs drag racing ever and this turbo/manifold and DP were about a day old at the time with a rough tune due to time restraints. This is at 12psi, 15" Azenis

1st 13.8 @108
2nd 13.1 @109.4
3rd 13.6 @ 110.4
4th 13.3 @ 109

I assembled this motor about 3000 miles ago and have been using my old t3 setup until a couple days ago. I built myself this top mount setup with a focus on high rpm power out of a very small stg one t3 turbine wheel. Some of the steps I did to achieve this were a 4-1 merge collector with long runners, ported turbine housing, large DP, WG positioning that exits the collector at about 45 degrees rather than 90 like I see on nearly all the manifolds on this site. This give a much more ideal flow path for the WG gasses which aids in top end flow. It worked wonderfully with full boost around 4.5K and it pulls hard to the rev limit at 7500.

Wicked. Nice traps also. Do you have any pics of the manifold off the car?

Thanks, ya 110mph was my goal since I knew it had the power for 12s but i had never dragged before so I just wanted to see the mph and work on ETs next time out. probably run it at 14-16 next time though.

no pics off the car. The mild steel looks a lot better with my ceramic coating but i didnt have time so i didnt take pics. I'll take some when I coat it.

Heres my time from last year and Im bone stock internals @ 8psi w/stock injectors and eclipse T25

R/T .685
60' 2.869
330 6.707
1/8 9.720
MPH 83.10
1000 12.252
1/4 14.296
MPH 105.26

Your set up should pull harder than my stock set up w/blue box, not really impressed, I would probably smoke you if we were street racing. Im at high altitude too...

Did you read my first post? my car would rape yours. I trap over 4mph faster, and run 1.14 sec faster ET even with traction/wheel hop problems and 0 driver experiance. Show me another 110mph T3 SOHC at 12psi and I might listen to you.

BTW internals have nothing to do with power in this case. I just rebuilt becsuse my old z6 ringlands were gone after 30k miles of boost. The rest of my motor is 100% stock.

I was just showing you my last years set up w/T25 bone stock. Look at my 2.869 60' along with my MPH of a 105 @8psi..With a better 60ft I could of did the same too at your elevation easy..
I just figured your set up could of did better than 110mph trap.. Hope Im not sounding like an *** or anything.. If so Im sorry.

Idk, how much does the altitude change things? .4sec?

My 60ft was 2.6 on the 110mph pass and the 1/8mile was a 9.1 in comparison to the 8.61sec 1/8 I ran on the 13.1 @ 109 pass. I still think my car makes quite a bit of power at such a low boost level and considering the not so great tune. It droped into the 10 AFRs up top, I guess I should have just upped the boost to fix that and ran a 12

But i guess you're not impressed. oh well, it's got lots more left for power and Its really fun now that I have tuned it a little better. Thats all I care about

How do you run a 2.8 almost 2.9 sixty foot??? Just launch at redline, totally sidestep the clutch, and let the car bounce off the rev-limiter until it is moving fast enough to catch traction?? You suck at life and have no room to criticize.

Bailhatch: awesome times.

what T-3 is that? Looks almost like the Chrysler T3 compressor housing the way that the intake bolts up to it like that... I have the chrysler unit on my B16, but am having some problems with the intake piping (its hitting my radi) somthing like the angled intake may help out... any info?

The turbine housing is a .63 a/r from a volvo 240 and the rest is from a Thunderbird. If you want once of those inlets I have a few. PM me.
