Bad Turbo Cuasing Low oil pressure
With the FeedLine Caped. I get Normal oil pressure ~70 cold
With feedline Connected to Turbo I see 35 Cold
Has anyone seen this happen?
This is a Turbonetics Ceramic BB t3/t4B

where are you taking the reading from? if the sensor is inline with the feed line you could see decreased pressure from the turbo. the turbo essentially pulls pressure away from the sensor. doesnt necessarily mean the rest of the motor has low pressure though

I thought it was just the Garrett/Precision Turbo's that needed a restrictor, didnt know Turbonetics required it too.......
I run my feed from the same spot that my oil pressure gauge is, and I see no difference with the line flowing or capped, running a -3 line and .035" restrictor.

we are all aware of the factory GT built-in Restrictor, however it is pretty widely known that you should run an additional .035" restrictor because the GT's dont like alot of oil pressure.
