Default bad headgasket being the source of my loss of boost?

my car was tuned on 10psi and left alone since, i did a little logging session today after noticing last week that my gauge was only reading 8psi and came to see that my car is only making 7.6psi..i've been thinking for a while now that i'm running into HG issues, would this be the source of my loss of boost?

There are other ways to tell a bad HG. Boost loss is not one I've heard of. Internal or external WG? What kind of boost controller? IC pipes nice and tight? Check for leaks, check for coolant in your oil, test compression etc...

also when the boost gauge reads at the said psi is it steady or flickering really fast. I found when I had a ripped coupler the boost gauge would flicker. as soon as I fixed the boost leak it was nice and steady at the higher psi.

everything is good and tight, the gauage doesn't flutter either. I know for a fact my HG is going bad cuz of some coolant in my breather tank and a bit of white smoke until the car is fully warmed up from the tail pipe

it doesn't really smell like coolant and it does go away once the car is warmed up.
