Default B20Vtec valve clearance , thicker headgasket?

Hey HT,

Im currently running a b20 with a grddy turbo. I picked up a GSR recently and started to read about valve clearance with B20 Vtec engines. Im not looking to do max power, and not looking to spend a whole lot extra rebuilding the lower end. Any experience with a thicker headgasket to increase clearance? I know itll drop compression, but since Im turboed, I can always turn up the boost.

Is there any other companies out there that offer thicker metal head gaskets aside from Cometic?

buddy club has a thicker gaskets .86 and 2mm they sell them on passwordjdm.com

personaly imo you will be fine considering your running arp headstuds and are some where under 300 whp or so there should be no problem with that power in a lsv there are soo many threads on it...

it does not go exactly how you think. if your compression is lower its just going to be harder to spool a turbo.
