B20VTEC turbo oil feed from where? SEARCHED

Ive done a B20VTEC engine, and have tapped the oil feed for the head from the oil sender on the back of the block.

If I wanted to now turbo the engine would this location be ok for supplying oil to the turbo as well as the head with a T-adapter?
Or should I get oil from elsewhere, or use an adapter screwed on with the oil filter?

they make a oil filter adapter that will give your 2 more oil feed ports. Golden eagle and a few other companys make them.

I have had a b20b vtec turbo and i just T'ed it at the block, should be fine

Ah good, just figured that there might be problems with oil pressure going from such a small hole to the head and the turbo. I know of the filter adapters, just would prefer not to have to spend the £80 (UKP) to get one.

I have never been a big fan of using the EOP port to feed both the Vtec system and the turbo. But there are alot of people using this method and it wroks for them. I feel it is asking too much from a 1/8" supply port when both the Vtec and turbo are demanding oil supply at full capacity.
I agree that one of the oil filter adapters are a good way to send oil supply to multiple components.
If you still end up using the tee method at least remote mount the tee on the firewall to avoid any failures from vibrations and stress.
