Thats like 4 people that have had problems out of thousands that have used GE.. nothing is going to be perfect off the bat.. it will need to be checked and rechecked..

GE is perfectly fine. Have you had any personal Experince using their sleeves? Because i've had a few customers use their sleeves with no problems.. what so ever.

And half the people bitching in that thread, probably haven't checked their crank if its bent, and probably haven't measured anything..

Only person i know of with a reputation in that thread is boosted b series who's really well known throughout their forum, and on the ectune forum with me.. the guy obviously has said some good things about GE..

GE's process has improved from a few years back..

I guess I should have worded that different. I was posting it it as an informative display. obviously it was more then 4 people... and I know a few guys had bearing issues as well with GE blocks.

Crank not straight? Using wrong torque amount, wrong sized bearings.. a ton of stuff can go into the cause of this.. not just sleeving problems...lol.
Your going to think i'm being a dick, and i'm not.. i'm just responding with answers to reasons.

I just posted up what i read and heard. No reason a professional machine shop would assemble things wrong. I know they have good products, i cant deny it, just sharing this as well.

1000cc injectors will not be enough to make 600whp on e85, plain and simple. e85 takes a bigger injector to run it to make it equivelent to 93 octane, therefore a 1000cc yea could possibly make 600whp on race gas...but most certainly not on e85. But, good luck with the build. I definitely cant wait to see this dynograph.

I don't mean to bring up an old thread but.... Hondata s300 maps are lacking for these builds. Any chance OP has a link to that s300 map, so that I may use it as a basemap? Everything I use is bogged down terribly.

We are working with a b20, we ended up with this through our performance shop taking the block they were building for a customer on trade for the owners sleeved b20v that put down 728whp on e98. We got hell of a price on it. I have had nothing but hate from a lot of people locally and around here, partially cause they don't know **** about Honda's and we all know half the people on here are just asses. So i leave it up to you guys, to let me know if me and my brothers horse power goals seem realistic.

I have heard everything on both spectrums that b20 sleeves wont hold boost for anything, and that my brother says he read an entire thread on b20v turbo's that i says swear that it all comes down to how good of a tune you have.

This engine is going in my brothers DA Integra 1990. The engine will be running hondata s300, e85 fuel and precision 1000cc injectors, a stage 2 axle, i forget the name off the top of my head.

the engine will be tuned at a mile high in Denver, by speed image performance, the shop that built the engine.

here is the final quote with turbo info and everything
B20Z1 BLOCK GE BLOCK GAURD CP
PISTONS 9.5:1 COMPRESSION EAGLE
RODS, ARP HEADSTUDS, OEM OIL
PUMP GSR, WATERPUMP TIMING
BELT.B16 HEAD VTEC. ACL Race BEARINGS.

Transmission TYPE-R TRANSMISSION
Turbo Manifold PFAB LOG STYLE TURBO MANIFOLD
Turbo PRECISION 6262E Billet wheel T3/T4
Intercooler FMIC INTERCOOLER CORE
Hondata S300 HONDATA
Jumper harness OBD0-OBD1 JUMPER HARNESS
Clutch kit Competition stage4
Flywheel competition flywheel
ECU P28 ECU OBD1
Wastegate TIAL 38MM WASTEGATE
Blow Off valve TIAL 50MM BLOWOFF VALVE
Downpipe TURBO DOWNPIPE 3"
Piping INTERCOOLER PIPING WITH COUPLERS CLAMPS
Custom 3 inch exhaust with vibrant muffler.

this is the final parts list, that we paid for. We are shooting for maxing it at 600 whp, just to be able to say she can do it, and every day mobbing at 450whp.

According to you guys, does this seem realistic.

Thanks guys in advanced. i don't mind honest advice or criticism just don't be an *** hat in your wording.. lol

thanks again.
DID YOU EVER REACH YOUR GOAL? , WE NEVER GOT AN UPDATE.
