b18c5 ok to booooost+METH?
ive got a 96 jdm itr swap in my ef and ran into some extra money and i want to put it on 7-10 psi+meth injection. people have been telling me not to do it locally but i think they are full of ****.
Thoughts suggestions how does this motor respond to boost?
My set up
96 itr stock block
port and polished b16 head with worked combustion chambers
skunk 2 pro series 1 cams
skunk springs and retainers stock valves
skunk 2 intake manifold
310cc injectors
190lph fuel pump
stock tb
phearable basemap
do the b18c's have to much compression to boost safley
breaaaaaaaak it dowwwwwnnn for me i want boost and 280whp without meth

I don't think those injectors are big enough. I'm just now starting to run water/meth injection.
Someone's going to say it eventually, so I might as well say it now. It's all about the tune.

440cc injectors barely handle 300whp, i would definately suggest starting with at least 525-550cc injectors, and if you have any ideas of building the block in the future i would get 1000cc injectors. why bother running the meth injection? you can make more than enough power on straight pump gas.

All turbos are good for 7-10 psi. It really comes down to; What kind of power are you looking to make?
I say minimum 660cc injectors and a Walbro 255 fuel pump.

IMO i wouldnt even bother boosting the c5. That motor wasnt intended for forced induction. Unless your planning on building it... Id just sell that swap and use that money to buy an LS. then with money you have left over, put some forged pistons and rods in there and call it a day. That would be more reliable than boosting the type r.
Injectors are probably too small like mentioned.
Check out precision T3 turbos. I had a sc34 on my D16 and it made 250 at 8lbs. Should reach your power goal no problem.
