I have a 94 gsr with a basic drag turbo set-up. I was on my way home last night, and as I pulled onto my street and down shifted into second the car just died. When I downshifted I let the clutch out and it did not engauge, I could feel the clutch just start to slip...then the motor just locked up and died. (I have a year old exedy stage 2 clutch with a stock flywheel.) I tried jump starting the car thinking the battery was dead and it will not even turn over. The motor and car have 210,000 miles on them so I figured the motor finally took a ****, but it seems like the problem is in the drivetrain. I checked the spark plugs and they look fine, no metal shavings or anything. I also checked my oil level and watched my oil pressure gauge right before everything happened and all was well. So if it is a drivetrain problem what could it be? Could this have anything to do with my flywheel or clutch assembly? Keep in mind I was able to roll the car to my house without a problem.
